   Moscow is a big and important city. It is the capital of Russia. There are a lot of green parks there. Tourists come to see its places of interest. There are a lot to see and to do in Moscow.

   Moscow is an old city. Its history began before 1147. Prince Yury Dolgoruky founded Moscow. He built the Kremlin on the high bank of the river. The city grew very fast and soon new houses appeared behind the Kremlin wall, but the Kremlin was still the most important place in Moscow.

   The Kremlin and Red Square are situated in the centre of Moscow. It is the oldest territory in the city. Tourists like to see buildings in Red Square: Spasskaya Tower, St Basil’s Cathedral, the Historical Museum and some others. They can listen to the Kremlin Clock there. Red Square is the most important square.

   Moscow is the city of Russian culture. There are a lot of universities and schools. There are good collections of pictures in pictures galleries. There are a lot of theatres and opera houses. Many places children can visit with their parents.
