It was during a long summer holiday about 2 years ago, when I and my family decided to visit my uncle’s home town at his invitation in order to see one of the biggest lakes of my country. The lake was very famous, not only because of its huge size but also because of its crystal clear water. Anyway, I was very excited about my visit to see the lake, but little did I know that even more excitement and surprise were waiting for me.

In fact, after arriving at my uncle’s hometown, when he took me to the lake, I could see a brand new boat was waiting for us to ride. Soon, our boat journey started and in no time, we found ourselves far away from the lakeshore. The amazing thing was that I could see the fishes swimming around us through the clear water of the lake! In a second, I forgot about my fear and wanted to catch some of those big fishes, but my uncle prevented me. Anyway, it was indeed a “once in a lifetime” kind of exciting and unforgettable experience for me because I have never traveled by boat before. I also felt like the fishes wanted to talk to us and I was full of positive vibes and emotions at that moment. I’ve never felt so excited.

Last winter Jane was on a plane going to Ireland. It was her first time on a plane and her cousins planned to meet her at the airport. She went through check-in and a little while later boarded the plane. Outside, the weather was dark and stormy. People fastened their seatbelts and the plane rose up into the air. Everything went smoothly at first. Then, suddenly, the plane started to jump around. The stewardess said there was nothing to worry about but Jane got scared when it began to tip from side to side. Finally the plane dived towards the ground at high speed. Jane expected it to crash and screamed, closing her eyes in terror. Finally, they landed safely at the airport. Jane’s cousins laughed when they heard the story. They said pilots dive to avoid air pockets. Jane felt relieved to be on the ground.
