Last April my family went to visit Grandad who lives in the mountains. I love his old cosy cottage with a red roof and a big porch. The central and the most spacious room in the house is the living room. This room, the kitchen and the bathroom are downstairs. The playroom for children is downstairs too. When my sister and I were small and didn't go to school, we often played there. The four bedrooms are upstairs. They are my parents' room, my grandad's room and two rooms for Sally and me. My room is the smallest, but I think it's the cosiest.
We usually arrive at the cottage at around three in the afternoon, have dinner and then walk in the mountains. During our last visit the weather was fine, so we spent a lot of time outside. We stayed with Grandad for six days and then had to leave and go back home. It was time for school.
